Manfred
von Richthofen, known as “Red Baron” (1892-1918), was the most feared and fearless pilot
of the German Air Force during World War I.
Now, the reedition of these texts published
by Macadam editorial, written by himself during convalescence from a combat wound in 1917,
give us an unusual point of view from thousands of feet up and through the
crosshairs of a ruthless fighter pilot. Hero to some and monster for others, in
these pages we enter his passionate way of living.
